Yet another example of why I'm King of the House
The Awesome Man likes to yell at cats when we do something we're not supposed to do (according to him). He acts all surprised and says things like "L-L-ATTE!! Gi-GiT-GIT DOWN! Sigh." Notice how I used the main culprit for getting on things- Latte. If the Awesome Man gets annoyed with me he simply says "Chase." in his special tone and I just start to purr and poof my tail and then he can't be mad. He lets me do whatever I want. I mean, last night, I took up the back half of his side of the couch and he didn't even say anything at all. If that had been Kaze, she would have been gone in the amount of time it takes me to twitch my tail. So yeah, I can do whatever I want since I've got the Awesome Man on my side. He didn't even say anything about me stealing the other cat's stinky goodness.

you should ask your awesome man for a fireplace. maybe he could buy one for you. mama's going to buy an electric one since the new place doesn't have one.
our fireplace has been great for the past few nights...not that it's been so cold, but that it's a good place to relax and toast.

My Meowm lets me do just about whatever I want too! I am sure some of my habits are appaling to others....but she lets me do them anyway!
I'm the only one who ever really does anything "wrong" or "annoying", but nobody's ever yelled at me so I guess I'll keep doing whatever I want too. I like to get into things I shouldn't and knock things down from high places. Plus I destroy plants. Sometimes the Lady softly says, "no, no sweet kitty" and hugs me.
