Terrified Tuesday
Yesterday I showed my manly side, today I'm showing my softer side. We had some thunderstorms roll in and the Woman wanted to show all of my friends how scared I get. Obviously one more reason the Woman is NOT my favorite. But being a Big Man Cat means showing your flaws too so here you go. Chase the Man Cat is scared of thunder.
First I start with my head in the corner.
Then I slink up the stairs and hide behind the bathroom door.

Dooood....SMART kitties are afraid of storms! You never know what kind of stuff a storm is going to bring, like lightning and tornadoes and icky neighbors wanting to borrow candles. Smart kitties hide from the storms because hiding keeps you safe, and if the People were smart, they'd hide too!
Oh, Chase! I know just how you feel! We had thunders yesterday and last night, too! It is very very very scary. I agree with Max: you are smart to hide.

We all hide from thunder storms, except Zippy, she will ask mom if she can go OUTSIDE! She's crazy!
I HATE THUNDER. I don't blame you for slinking upstairs. I hide under the sofa until it's all gone and I am a real ruffy tuffy cat most of the time. FAZ
I don't like thunder either! We don't get it here much, but do up at our mountain house, and I hide under the bed!

I think it's awesome that you show your flaws. You didn't hear this from me, but Percy is scared of thunder too, he hides under the bed.

Oh, Chase, don't worry! Being afraid of thunder certainly doesn't make you less of a mancat. Rather, it makes you wise and prudent! Thunder is very frightening, no doubt about it.

Thunder is very, very scary. We're supposed to get lots of storms here today. I'm already scared.

No worries buddy, we all have something we're scared of. Max is right, icky neighbors are one of them. ha ha ha.
Actually, whenever it storms I have to be touching one of my beans at all times (usually mommy). I crawl under the covers with her and get as close as I can.
You're smart to be on alert when there is thunder!
Hi Chase! Our big and protective woofie Mooch is afraid of thunder storms too. He will come paw at our meowmize or go and lay in his bed, or hide under the bed. Besides it doesn't take away from being a mancat if youz are afraid of somefing.

Our woofie Captain was afraid of thunder until he couldn't hear it anymore. We are pretty used to it though, because it thunders almost every day in the summer.

Chase, I find this furry interestin', because I get sneaky and slink up the stairs and hide too. Usually, though, I hide under the bed up there.

I don't mind storms, but I think you're smart to seek shelter. What do beans know, anyway? The cat before me was terrified of thunder... and airplanes, and loud trucks, and anything else like that. She'd hide deep in the closet, while my people would stand at the window and watch the storm! We're much smarter than them. Purrs and nosekisses to my SMART big man cat,

Ooooh...and that lightening stuff is scarry too!
It was not nice for your mum to take pictures of this. I don't mind the thunder but not everyone does and it is not a bad thing.
I HATE thunder too. I like to hide under something when it's booming.
