Thoroughbred Tuesday

Here is the problem child of the week. The news has been announced so I can finally tell everyone what is going on. Snap is moving to a new barn! Its happy and sad at the same time because the Woman is really close friends with her barn manager. They have been through a lot in the past 2 years and she's really sad to leave. The Woman and Snap are working really well together and are considering taking some steady lessons and maybe even do some shows. At the new place the horse VET lives there (he is married to the barn owner) but why you would want to be close to a VET I don't know. Maybe horses are just stupid? I mean, they let people ride them and all....

So now all is settled and she moves at the end of June. OK...so can I get back to my normal blogging now Woman? I mean....enough is enough. She promises to be more "normal" now.

We hopes Snap likes her new barn. We've been thinking she might be moving since you said she was okay.

We have some of these big things in Wimbledon too (I mentioned on my blog). You, Latte and Kaze don't have to get too close do you Chase? That would be very scary. FAZ

Is moving as stressful to horsies as it is fur kitties? We hope Snap likes her new home but we don't think it's good to be close to a vet. Maybe it's different fur horses.

Chase, it's good for your woman to get it out. And you were very nice to let her use your blog. You obviously care for her more than you let on!

As for the woman and her friend, I hope that they can remain friends. They should, after all, a horse may have brought them together but a horse didn't make them friends :)

mommies are always trying to be more normal. They should nap more too.
Snap is very pretty though... for a horse

I'm glad Snap is ok so your mom can concentrate on important things, like pictures of you, dear Chase.

My woman is sympathetic to your woman's situation. It's hard to be good friends with someone who is also, technically, working for you. But she has to do what's best for Snap. Just like daycare for my boy... except it doesn't sound like Snap's been expelled. That's a whole nother story.

Snap is a very pretty horse! But you're right; horses are strange for letting people ride them.

Hi Chase. I must admit I'm sad your Woman is going to miss Snap. It is hard for our beans to have to give up us animals and although a horse simply can not measure up to a cat, I'm sure Snap will be missed lots. I hope she is happy in her new home.

I'm glad we'll be seeing more of you soon. You may want to give your Woman just a couple head nuzzles this week....Then you can go back to ignoring her.

Thanks Hendrix but unfortunately Snap is ours "forever" as the Woman says. She's just moving to a new barn, not being sold. I WISH she would get sold because the Woman spends way too much time with her.

I understand that beans can sometimes have really difficult patches in their lives where they need extra support. I've always found this to be the best time to hang around them because for some reason when beans are struggling with something they give lots of treats and loving, so stick close!

What a beautiful horse. I'm sure Snap will be happy at the new place. It is hard telling friends bad news, but you feel so much better once it is out in the open.

What a nice gentleman cat to share your blog with your equine sister.

We're glad all that's settled!! Much more impawtant stuff to be done than moving horsies around, heh? Snap is a beeyoutiful horsie though. And if you're located at the VET's, then you don't get charged for a house call!!!

Dorf was mean cuz of his bad toofies which nobody knew about. And now he just relapses sumtymes.

Awh, Snap looks a little camera shy. Cute stuff. I'm sure your Woman will miss them very much.
I'm not so sure about moving in with the Vet, though. You are right about those horses... cute, but not so bright.

We're glad your mum made her decision about Snap, maybe she can stay friends with the people who are looking after her at the moment. Our mum looks after horses for people, and she has some who have left for various reasons, but the owners still come back and visit. She says tell your mum not to worry, horses settle into a new home very quickly.
