Checking it Out

We got a new lamp so I had to investigate. Hmm...looks....well...bright. Smells like plastic, and doesn't reall make much noise. Still, new items can be wiley and you never know when they will spring to life so I had to approach carefully. I had to make sure I could leap backwards in case it turned into a monster.

This lamp has been verified OK. I certify it Chase approved therefore all cats should not fear it.

Chase, you are very brave to be the first cat to check things out for safety. I sometimes do that backward leaping thing when I am uncertain about things.

Momma says she likes that dark blue on the walls. She likes those darker accent colors and is trying to get the Almost Dad (I guess he's really dad now, though huh?) to let her paint more of them!

Chase, it is super important to check everything carefully and sniff thoroughly all new things that come into the home. For the safety and security of the fam, you know

Chase, how smart of you to use the stairs to get closer to the top of the lamp. It's a very important job we cats have in inspecting all things that come into our domain. I make sure to put my scent on everything I can reach. Great job, my friend.

Kaze and Latte are very lucky to have such a brave brother to check stuff out for them. We usually send in Titus to investigate scary stuff. If he barks and backs up, then we know it's really scary and we need to stay away.
