Bugs

Usually Latte is our designated House Hunter. I don't really mind, I've been there, done that, and I'll admit I was beaten by a red squirrel once. I'm not ashamed of that, I was a kitten and I hunted that thing all night long without sleeping. The fact that it escaped was because the humans tried to intervene.

Anyhow, the Woman came home with some food stuff and when she turned around to the counter she saw one of her most hated creatures ever....the centipede. She hates them. When she was a little girl she had one in her hair. I don't blame her! I saw the create and ran after it. Luckily for it the creature ran under the dishwasher. The Woman FREAKED out and ran out of the room. I hunted it for a while but it didn't come out. This is their time of year.....

So yeah, sometimes Latte slacks on his job and I have to step up. Its hard to be in charge sometimes.

I have never seen a centipede before. I think I might like to. Bug hunting rocks!

I do not like centipedes either. Because they have too many feets.

Our mommie has had a lot of bad experiences with spiders. not biting but lots of surprises that she just goes nutty when she sees one... except those teensy ones. We do not eat them anymore, but I always try to alert mom so she can get the vacuum cleaner... and guess what? I am not afraid of the vacuum.

chase. You are a great help to your mom.

Our mommy hates spiders. If she sees one she yells and screams for Daddy by screaming "SPIDER!" We do not know why but she will not let us hunt them. No, she yells for Daddy and then does her best to keep us more than 10 feet from them. We think they would be fun to play with but Mommy says no because she is afraid a little spider will eat us. Silly Mommy!

Chase

I had a bug(in the rug no less) yesterday morning. Momma came and look and saw I had the situation under control so she let me have my bug. She came back later and bug was gone. I didn't tell her what I did with it.

I'm ok a spider-chasin, and I'll eat them after they're dead and dried up, but I'm not much for other bugs..I'd rather chase little brown fevver balls! (sparrows)

Eeeewwwwww, your poor Mum. You were very brave to hunt it for her. Keep your eye on the dishwasher so you can pounce it when it comes out. I was going to tell you a centipede story but I won't coz it would freak your Mum out. It wasn't a nasty experience though, like her childhood one. xxx

Was it one of them great big hairy lookin' centipedes? Momma isn't skeered of bugs (she and Daddy's efun had a tarantula fur a pet), but them centipedes freak efun her out a little bit!

But I ain't skeered of any bug, efun a hairy centipede! I don't know if I'd wanna eat him, though. alla those leggies might tickle.

Sounds like you are a great mancat, runnin' yur household just right!

Those funny things with lots of legs are running around here too. Mum squishes them then flushes them.

That is a funny story. My Lady isn't afraid of any bugs. She won't kill them. She just lets them hang out until I kill them. I'm glad she doesn't try to stop me.
