November.
I lead a fairly straight forward existence and somedays I really don't do anything other than eat/sleep/use the box and today is one of them. So instead of telling you my fairly boring digging in the litter box tales I figured I'd share a picture of New Jersey with you.
Most humans think New Jersey is a worthless state, the "armpit" of the nation. Sure we're tucked between NYC and Philadelphia but we have our own charms. We have the Pine Barrens which I'll admit are dull as they are filled with scrub-brush pines and sand. But there are also cedar trees that make the creeks brown. This is in fact "Cedar Creek" located at the Whitesbog Cranberry Bog. While Ocean Spray would like you to think your Cranberries all come from Massachusetts most in fact come from New Jersey. The cranberry bogs are tucked into the pines where you would least expect them.
New Jersey is our home and we love it. Sure its not New England with the mountains, Florida with palm trees and lizards, but New Jersey isn't as bad as some make it out to be.

And New Jersey has the best blueberries in Mom's opinion!
Thank you, Chase, for the Catster Rosette! You are such a wonderful man cat to honor me that way! And I received honorable mention in the Spicy Vixen category of the Halloween Costume Contest--probably no doubt due to your influence. Many thanks!
Your charmer,

My human would argue about the blueberries, having their own local Washington ones.
However, we want to ask about the Pine Barrens. We read a book that had a horror story that took place there. Is it really a scary out of the way place?
Other famous New Jersey things--doesn't Stephanie Plum live there? And Ranger?
Thank you for voting me for Catster~! I am so grateful~!
And I think New Jersey is beautiful. Although I have never been there, only see pictures on website or movie. But I like it~!
Oh look at that gorgeous lake and trees..Chase I think we should go out there and explore one day. That would be so much fun.

That is a beautiful picture of NJ. Our Aunt Jen just moved there this year. Momma hopes to go visit her soon.
we was gonna menshun about the blueberries too! and sweet corn! Silver Queen Corn from Duffields in Washington Township is like heaven to our mommy. And tomatoes. She says nothing on earth is a good as a Jersey Tomato.
I do not think NJ is a bad place to live. That is a beautiful photo, and everything I have seen of your hometown makes it seem like a very special place.
ps: lets hear some digging in the litter box tales!
Looks purrty to me!
It is the Garden State after all, right? That is a very pretty picture!
It looks very nice - and the cranberries and blueberries sound nice.
Mum says she thought Illinoisy was the armpit? Plus Whiskerconsin grows cranberries too. Lots of them.
I think the picturrre looks beautiful. My lady bean knows someone who spends theirrr family summerrrs--all summerrr on the coast of New Jerrrsey.
Do they have any Jerrrsey cows therrre?
Wait a minute, Chase! Ocean Spray gets all their cranberries from Wisconsin. It's huge here, mid-state. What do you mean, Massachusetts! I've seen the TV ads. They're HERE, I tell you!
::Grumble grumble::
Sorry, love. I'm sure Mew Jersey is called the Garden State for good reason. Your picture is lovely and my beans liked the view from their train thru NJ. No hard feelings? Purrs!
We think it looks purty darn lovely! We don't have the lizards either, and I have been trying to get Daisy to send me one. Momma is worried about the lumpy.
Your charmer,
Mittens
When Mommy & Daddy crossed from New York they thought it smelled like cat pee. Maybe that was NY's fault? Heh, sorry Jeter. Kearney has really good pizza and they thought Red Bank was very pretty.
What a beautiful lake and we love the leaves that are changing color for the fall season. We hope one day you are able to take a look around and smell all of the wonders of nature. Thanks for the share. Have a great weekend.
