Man Cat Monday
The Awesome Man calls this my flying pose. He thinks it looks like I'm headed in for a landing. I think tucking my paws is really comfy and it allows me to lie my head flat on the ground. I take lots of naps in the hall upstairs because I can see anyone coming up the stairs and I know there is no one behind me.
I allowed the Woman to hug me a bit over the weekend. She was talking about how she used to be my favorite when I was a younger cat and I'd snuggle in her neck. I don't ever remember liking her to that extent. I don't dislike her, I just don't have a huge need to purr for her or snuggle. The Awesome Man however I can't get enough of him! I rub on him and purr on him all of the time.

That is a great way to rest. Meowm always has to touch my legs when my feet are curled under me like that.
I love my Daddy way more than Mommy too - I'm sure she's great, but Daddy's where it's at!

I don't think we splay our legs out quite that much. We do the meat loaf position, but that looks more like a large bird! Ha.
I think that is a very comfy position for resting. My Mommie calls it the "boat" position.

Sometimes we kitties just can't help having favorites. My favorite is mommy, of course, but the other furries in the house aren't so particular.
You look big and tough there, my man. It's okay that you like to spend mancat time with your AM. Do you talk about tools and football?

Chase, don't tell Bonnie I told you, but she was snugglin up to the boy ofur the weekend. She says it's just cuz he's warm an not covered wif me, but I fink she likes him.
We like our daddy okay but mom...mom doesn't complain when we knead on her lap and get our furs in her face.

I did a bad thing...Momma got distracted and she left her ham out on the counter, and before you know it ... it called my name and I was UP on the counter eating it! Momma was not happy I was eating her lunch.
But she forgave me and fed me the ham later....

We like yer "flyin pose". We normally curl our paws unner us (breadloaf style), but we'll hafta try it your way sometime... :)
Hey, Chase! It's good to be friendly and snuggle a little with the "other" Staff-it keeps them on our side in case the Primary Staff is disabled in some way-then, our feeding and playing routines aren't disturbed!
(Besides, we like it a little bit, too :) )
I like to lie like that too.It's good to not haf to hold yer head up sumtimes cuz it gits heavy.
