Watch out for falling trees!

I won the Calico Girl's Gotcha Day gift!! I'm so excited I've even woken up from my nap!

We live in a very lovely town that has a huge old canopy. It is very charming and the sycamores really create a lovely ambiance. This is our main street on the 4th of July when we have a big parade.



The Awesome Man and the Woman were driving home from the barn last night when they heard a strange crackling noise. Suddenly there was a huge CRASH!!!!!!!! A large branch came from the sky and landed in front of the car and bounced up while the wussy Woman covered her eyes (like that was going to do any good). Luckily the AM was driving. They drove home, which was a block away. The Woman called the cops and they showed up at the house 5 minutes later. They couldn't find the big branch so the AM had to drive up there and help them remove the pieces.

Luckily no one was hurt but it could have killed a pedestrian and certainly any cats who would have been outside! The car is wounded and they are trying to figure out if its the homeowner, the Boro, or the County who is in charge of the tree. The policeman said they will have to get back to us. Luckily it is driveable, just scratched up and its ear hanging.
