Wanna see a baby horse?

IMAGE REMOVED DUE TO HOT LINKING!!!!!!!!!!!!!

This little foal was born just 3 days before this picture was taken. You can see where his mom (a maiden mare which means he is her first baby) stepped on him by accident. This little guy had a really hard time standing up on his own but the wonderful woman who takes care of our horse, Snap, took care of the little guy even though he wasn't her responsibility. He's doing well now! Thanks to the nice woman who gave them HER hay and HER water and tons of time. The mean mean owners of this mare (there are 20 PREGNANT mares out in a field and they were out there all Winter) said that the nice woman was trying to hurt the baby horse. Grrrr.....race track people are BAD mean people who don't care about the horses. There is another really really really sad chapter to this story but I don't want to upset anyone so I'm not going to tell it. Lets just say the poor pregnant mares need to come inside.

That little foal is so cute! I can see the little ouchie on his leggie. I am sure that mom just made a mistake, because I can see that she loves her baby very much. That nice lady is good for helping him. I wish I could give the bitey to the bad mean lady.

I am so glad that baby horsie is okay. And I am sending gentle headbutts to the lady that took care of him.

Meowm wonders if there is any animal police that can be called in to check out the situation with the other horses.

We will include all these horsies in our purrayers.

Yes Junior, the ASPCA has been called in and its getting to be a tricky situation since they have food water and some shelter. But that is why the mean owner people blamed the nice lady because they know she called the ASPCA on them.

He's a kyoot little horsie. It's lucky furr him that the nice lady took care of him. Mum makes all of the horsies here go in theer nice warm stables at night in the winter. Those mean peepull wouldn't want to be out in the rain and snow, speshully if they wuz going to haf babies would they. Hope the ASPCA can help them.

Some people should not be allowed to own any animals. Leaving horsies outside all the time, terrible. Specially for the mum's to be! Hope the horsie police can do something.

Mommy and Daddy just don't get it. There are some aweful people out there!!! This little one is so cute. All those pregnant horsies spending the winter outside makes me really sad. My beans love me so much. They also help the strays in the neighborhood. They try to get care and treatment one cat at a time.

It sounds like the nice lady is really and angel!

Stupid nasty mean owner of the pregnant horsies.

Can't we just make THEM stay out side with just food, water and some shelter?
